Unit 1: Computer Science & Information Technology

Computer Fundamentals: Hardware architecture, memory organization (RAM/ROM, Cache, Virtual Memory), CPU components (ALU, CU), and Input/Output devices.

Number Systems & Logic Gates: Binary, Octal, Decimal, and Hexadecimal conversions; AND, OR, NOT, NAND, NOR, XOR logic gates.

Operating Systems: Basics of Windows and Linux environments, file systems (FAT32, NTFS), and basic command-line operations.

Networking Fundamentals (High Priority): The OSI Reference Model, TCP/IP protocol suite, IP addressing (IPv4/IPv6, Subnetting basics), LAN/WAN/MAN topologies, and networking devices (Routers, Switches, Hubs, Modems, Repeaters).

Cyber Security Concepts: Basic network security, firewalls, malware types (viruses, trojans, worms, ransomware), and encryption/decryption basics.

Internet & Web Technologies (NEW): Web browsers, search engines, URLs, DNS, and fundamental email protocols (SMTP, POP3, IMAP).

Software Applications (NEW): Proficiency basics in MS Office Suite (Word shortcuts, Excel basic functions, PowerPoint slide basics) as these are standard for daily desk duties.
Unit 2: Electronics Engineering

Basic Circuit Theory: Ohm’s Law, Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law (KVL), Kirchhoff’s Current Law (KCL), and calculating resistors, capacitors, and inductors in series and parallel. AC vs. DC fundamentals.

Network Theorems: Basic understanding of Thevenin’s, Norton’s, Maximum Power Transfer, and Superposition theorems.

Semiconductor Devices: P-N junction diodes, Zener diodes (as voltage regulators), Transistors (BJT, FET, MOSFET), and basics of amplifiers and oscillators.

Digital Electronics: Boolean algebra, De Morgan’s theorems, and basic combinational/sequential logic circuits (Flip-Flops, Registers, Counters).

Power Supplies & Rectifiers (NEW): Half-wave, full-wave, and bridge rectifiers, filters, and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).

Electronic Measuring Instruments (NEW): Working principles of Multimeters, Cathode Ray Oscilloscopes (CRO), and Function Generators. (Crucial for hardware troubleshooting).
Unit 3: Core Communication Systems (Crucial for this specific post)

Modulation & Demodulation: Amplitude Modulation (AM), Frequency Modulation (FM), Phase Modulation (PM), and Pulse Code Modulation (PCM).
